The Plane Doctor 

The Plane Doctor is a full-service repair facility for light single and twin piston-engined aircraft, specializing in Cessna 172s and Piper Comanches. It maintains hangar and office space at Stafford Airport (RMN) in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The Plane Doctor's principal is Roberta (Bobbi) Boucher, who is a certified Airframes and Powerplants mechanic (A & P), a certified Aircraft Inspector (IA), and a certified flight instructor (CFI).

Normal business hours are 9 AM through 5 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Needs for assistance outside these hours, or on short notice, can usually be accommodated.

The Plane Doctor's business motto - "We Make Hangar Calls" - means what it says: if a client aircraft can be reasonably worked on or inspected without being moved to one of the locations where our major tools and equipment are located, and other commitments permit, we are glad to oblige.

We strive for long term relationships, in which an aircraft's good health can be monitored and maintained on an ongoing basis.
